Contributions to a municipal campaign are not tax-deductible and no charitable receipt is issued. Contributions are subject to review, and ineligible contributions will be returned in accordance with the Municipal Elections Act.
Rebate: Markham residents who donate $50 or more may be eligible for a City of Markham contribution rebate of 75% of their donation, up to $150, if candidates participate in the program.
